Symptoms

• Opening applications always take about 127 seconds
• Creating new applications also takes about 127 seconds
• Adding item to patch times out.

Cause

There is an issue with communication from the application server to the Appian Data Sever which causes the functionality that relies on the data-server to time out after roughly 2 mins.

Action

1. Verify that the Appian Data Server is running
2. Verify that ADS is configured correctly in the application server's appian-topology.xml with the correct hostname and port.
3. Check if application server can reach the Appian Data Server
