DRAFT KB-XXXX How to Request a Product Enhancement

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to give a high-level overview of the product enhancement request process for Appian.

Instructions

 Steps:

  1. Customer: Create a support case and submit the following worksheet: Appian_VPN_Worksheet.docx. All sections highlighted in yellow MUST be filled out.
  2. Appian: Review the worksheet and populate values for the Appian Cloud site’s VPN gateway IP address and the private network address space. Upload the updated worksheet to the case.
  3. Appian + Customer: Communicate the PSK securely through a WebEx. (At this point all information needed to establish a VPN tunnel has been communicated.)
  4. Appian + Customer: Configure the VPN endpoints.
  5. Customer: Provide Appian with a 2–4 hour window to restart the Appian Cloud site to persist the configuration changes.
  6. Appian + Customer: Troubleshoot the connection.
