The banner message for a Start Process Link appears as "???????????" once the process starts successfully after completing any initial chained forms:
The banner message text uses a language that is not part of the Administration Console's list of supported languages, so Appian is unable to present it correctly.
Ensure that the banner message text is using a supported language for the specific version of Appian you are using, as new versions of Appian may have support for additional languages. For example, the supported languages for Appian version 20.4 can be found here.
This article applies to all versions of Appian.
