When the Task Display Name of a User Input Task contains a newline character, the automatic New Task notification email that gets sent from Appian will print a newline in the subject field of the email which could cause an email client to not properly render the email.
This issue has been resolved via AN-96623 in the following Appian hotfixes/versions:
Apply the latest hotfix for your Appian version or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.
This article applies to all versions of Appian.
