When the Task Display Name of a User Input Task contains a newline character the automatic New Task notification email that gets sent from Appian will print a newline character in the subject field of the email. This newline character in the subject field of the email could cause an email client to not properly render the email.
This issue has been resolved via AN-96623 in the following Appian hotfixes/versions:
Apply the latest hotfix for your Appian version or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.
This article applies to all versions of Appian.
