The date validation message currently only displays US date format "mm/dd/yyyy". If for example the system language were to be set to English (United Kingdom), if an incorrect date is passed that triggers the built in validation, the following error message will be displayed:
The value XX/XX/XXXX is not a valid date. Valid format is mm/dd/yyyy.
When the UK date expects the following format: "dd/mm/yyyy". This is currently the behaviour for all languages.
This issue has been addressed via AN-84725 in the following versions: 18.2+
Upgrade to the latest version of Appian. (18.2+)
