When checkpointing engines or running the status.sh script on Linux, the following error occurs:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: unable to create new native thread.
This indicates that ulimit -u for the Appian user is set lower than the total number of threads required by the user.
To allow the Appian user to create additional threads for these processes, increase ulimit -u.
