KB-XXXX Process model details missing from health check report

Symptoms

  • The process sizing report in the Appian Health Check report is not populated.
  • The application server log prints the following error:
ERROR com.appiancorp.tools.labs.collection.DataCollectionController - Problem running collector com.appiancorp.plugins.labs.collectors.ProcessModelSizingCollector
...
Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused

Cause

  • The process execution engines are very large and the call used by the Appian Health Check is unable to fetch the process information within two minutes.

Action

  • Archive or delete unnecessary processes in the environment to reduce the size of the process execution engines.

Workaround

  • Use the sizing script to manually obtain a report of the processes in the environment.

Note: The sizing script report is not as detailed as the report generated is not as detailed as the process sizing report generated by the health check.

Affected Versions

  • This article applies to all versions of Appian compatible with the Appian Health Check.
