Banner messages show up as "???????????" in Start Process Links once the task is complete as shown below:
The banner message presented after Start Process Link is completed will return "??????????" because that language is not part of the official languages in the Admin console so Appian does not know how to present it.
Only use character sets that are part of the languages specified in our documentation for the version of Appian you are using as we release new languages that may be available in newer versions and not in older versions of Appian.
For example, if using Appian 20.4, the following documentation should be used.
