After the username/password are entered on the login screen, the page keeps reloading indefinitely with no result and HTTP status code 302 - Moved Temporarily seen in the network capture.
Customers may have a custom HTML file used for redirection to the Appian login page if the user did not type the entire URL. More details on how to achieve the redirection is in step 17 of this documentation.
This issue will occur if the HTML file is copied to a wrong location or missing entirely during the upgrade leading to 302 status code observed in the network capture.
Copy over the custom HTML file to the right location as desribed in this documentation.
As a general note, customers are encouraged to maintain all customizations via versioning tools and merge the customizations during every upgrade.
