KB-1021 Documents not present in folder

Symptoms

Documents that should exist in a folder are no longer appearing in that folder. Users cannot see them in the Appian Designer.

Cause

The documents expired due to the Knowledge Center expiration setting. Starting in Appian 18.1, documents never expire. Refer to the following documentation for more details:

Action

Create a process model that uses the Edit KC Properties smart service to change the Expiration Days to 0.
